About this camp

Students attending the Club SciKidz West Chicago AI Summer Camp will embark on a hands-on, project-based program designed to introduce them to the real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Under the guidance of expert counselors, campers will learn to code and build their own AI models from scratch. The curriculum focuses on core AI skills, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), data analysis and visualization, and face and voice recognition. Campers will move beyond theoretical concepts to actively create and innovate. The week culminates in an independent research project where students choose a topic of interest and develop a final project to showcase their newly acquired skills.

What a typical day looks like

A typical day includes general check-in, an all-camp science demonstration, multiple S.T.E.A.M rotations, snack breaks, lunch and recess, and an afternoon outdoor component with team and skill-building activities.
