Snapology camps uniquely blend fun, hands-on activities with educational STEAM concepts, using familiar tools like LEGO® bricks to make learning enjoyable and engaging.
Snapology of Chicago's Robotics Camps offer children ages 4-14 an engaging introduction to computer programming and engineering. Campers utilize LEGO® bricks and other technologies to build and code robots, fostering an understanding of how technology can solve real-world problems. The curriculum is designed to be hands-on and play-based, allowing children to explore STEAM concepts without realizing they are learning. Activities include designing and building robotic animals, creating amusement park rides that move, and participating in challenges like robot sports. Through these interactive projects, children develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The camps aim to ignite creativity, build confidence, and provide a supportive environment for making new friends while exploring the exciting world of robotics and STEM.
A typical full day includes two Snapology programs, with a one-hour lunch break in between. Extended care options allow for early drop-off with LEGO® free play and late pick-up with additional free play or other activities.
This camp is best for children who enjoy building, are curious about how things work, and want to explore robotics and coding in a fun, hands-on environment.
