The UIC ETL STEM Camp is an educational outreach program hosted by the UIC College of Education, designed to introduce students aged 8-13 to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Participants work with a variety of computer and technology equipment, including drones, robotics (such as Double Robotics, Ozobot, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and LEGO Robotics), and 3D printing. The camp also incorporates science projects in areas like natural science, chemistry, physics, computer science, and engineering. Students engage in activities such as simulations, programming, webpage creation, and animation & multimedia creation. Each day, campers meet at 10 AM in the Education Technology Lab, College of Education, UIC, and engage in hands-on activities and lessons using various technologies and participating in science projects, concluding at 4 PM.
